Fund a Flight Week 2016
Every time the Cornwall Air Ambulance and its crew take off, someone somewhere in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly needs our help. Now, we need yours!
19th - 25th September 2016 is Cornwall Air Ambulance's Fund a Flight Week, part of National Air Ambulance Week. The aim is to get businesses, schools, community groups, friends, families and neighbours across the county doing something fun to Fund a Flight!
Bath your teacher in Baked Beans at school. See how much your office can raise from a swear jar. Hold a 'Come Dine With Me' style night with your friends. Lock up the boss for the day and only release them when their 'bail' has been paid. Have a fancy dress, dress down or 'tache for cash day at work. Hold a coffee morning in your Church or community group, or a pub quiz in the local.
Last year our supporters really got behind the week and we had some truly weird and wonderful fundraising ideas! Our wonderful supporters raised thousands to keep us flying. This year we're hoping to raise even more! It doesn't matter what you do, or how much or little you raise - a penny from many is better than a pound from a few!
Doing your bit for Fund a Flight Week is a great way of getting everyone together, having fun in aid of a great cause. It's also really easy, as we can provide you with collection buckets, stickers, balloons and literature for your event.
Fund a Flight Week 2016 is from Monday 19th to Sunday 25th September - so pop the dates in your diary and get your creative juices flowing!
Why not pledge to take part in your home, school, office or community? Fill in the form below to let us know what you'll be doing to help Fund a Flight, and we'll be in touch to let you know how we can help.
