Cornwall Air Ambulance Family Fun Day 2014

Come and join Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust for our annual family fun day!

This year, this popular summer family event will once again take place in the stunning grounds of Pencarrow House and Gardens at Washaway near Bodmin (Postcode for Sat Nav: PL30 3AG) on Sunday 17th August.

What's On?

The day will feature a host of activities for all generations, from the traditional to the more unusual!

We're hoping for a visit from the Cornwall air ambulance helicopter and crew, depending on missions, giving you the chance to take a look around and meet our helicopter heroes!

There will be traditional fairground games, a classic car show, bouncy castle and a fun dog show, plus Donkey rides, facepainting and a traditional children's storyteller.

There will be live music and entertainment throughout the day, as well as an arts and crafts fayre with a wide variety of locally-made products.

Fresh food will be available throughout the day as well as a licensed bar for the 'big kids'

New For 2014: It's A Cornish Knockout!

This summer we're introducing It's A Cornish Knockout to our Pencarrow Family Fun Day for the first time!

It's your chance to get together with friends or colleagues and become our 2014 Champions as you outscore your opponents on various tasks involving water, foam, silly costumes and a giant obstacle course!

Whether it's team-building with your colleagues or an excuse to don your tu-tus and onesies with friends, this promises to be a fantastic day!

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased on the gate and are £3.50 per person or £10 for a family of four, with under fives going free.

Tickets include entry to Pencarrow gardens, and access to the house can be purchased separately.

Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust is extremely grateful to the Molesworth family and Pencarrow Estate for their continuing support for the charity, and for allowing us to use their grounds as the stunning backdrop for this great family day out for another year.

At the heart of the estate is the striking 50 roomed Georgian country manor house, surrounded by 50 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland trails, including an Iron Age hill fort, grotto and Italian garden. Entry to the gardens is included in your Family Fun Day ticket, and why not top up to include a tour of the stunning manor house?
