Support local artists and keep Cornwall Air Ambulance flying

A Charitable Art Auction in Truro, on Friday 12 April 2013 at The Birdhouse Cakery, will be showcasing over 40 artworks. This art auction is running as part of Truro Festival, and sets to raise a significant amount of money for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust and to support the practice of local artists.

Charlotte Davis, Curator for CAAT, comments “ I have been incredibly touched by the amount of submissions we have received for this project and really hope that Friday night is enjoyed by everyone.”

The artworks included in the auction come from a range of artists, photographers, cartoonists and illustrators. Artists exhibiting include, Sam Bassett, Nick Brennan, Luke Frost, Patrick Haughton and Penny Macbeth, amongst more than 25 other artists.

The team would like to welcome everyone to come along and join in the event. They welcome any donation, whether it be a penny, a pound or a bid on an artwork. There will be drinks on arrival from 6.00pm, with the auction commencing at 7.00 pm.
