Giving Something Back

An author from Newquay says he's determined his new book will 'give something back' with a donation to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

Toby Abbs lives with Bipolar. Having learnt how to live with his illness, Toby has now written a revolutionary new self-help book to help others living with life-changing illnesses.

Toby is determined that the book - 'Tearing Down The Layers' - will help people in more ways than one, with 10% of each book, audiobook and ebook purchase going to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

"I want this book to give something back as I am extremly lucky I have overcome the illness," explained Toby. "I want to give inspiration to fellow sufferes and help them overcome whatever illness is affecting their lives.

"But I want the book to help in more ways than one. That's why I've decided to donate a proportion of each book to the Cornwall Air Ambulance. I've grown up seeing the helicopter flying around the Newquay area. It really is a lifesaving service, and I want to give something back to the county I grew up to love."

The book is a raw honest account of Toby's battle with Bipolar and shows sufferers how to tear down the layers of an illness and rebuild their lives.
