Dobwalls beer festival 2015

Dobwalls Annual Beer Festival going from strength to strength!

The 6th Annual Dobwalls Beer Festival is being held in the garden of the Highwayman pub over the weekend of Friday 24th (6pm till late) and Saturday 25th July (12 noon onwards). Every penny raised goes to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, with the basic costs being paid for by the many local sponsors and the organising committees own efforts. As usual everything available at the festival in both food and drink will be 100% Cornish, with a range of ten different ales and 3 local ciders on offer and the ever popular local meat barbeque on Saturday afternoon. It is a real opportunity to sample beers from some of the excellent smaller breweries around the county which you may not be familiar with. All styles of ale will be available, from light, fresh, lower strength brews to heavier, fuller flavour, high ABV beers.

Music on Friday night will be provided by 'Sgt Flint' (9.30pm in the pub) and 'Street Talk ' (7-9pm in the marquee) , with Saturdays entertainment from 'Total Stranger' (9.30pm in the pub) and 'Triptych' (7-9pm in the marquee).

The festival is very highly rated and you will not be disappointed - traditional drinks and freshly cooked food is available all day. It is a greatly enjoyable couple of days for everyone attending, not just for beer and cider drinkers, but for the whole family atmosphere and entertainment. It may be small, but continues to go from strength to strength and the overall occasion is one not to be missed!
