Escorted Rides

Another option for a day out in the saddle is a ranger led ride by Sustrans bike rangers on the national cycle network taking in Lanhydrock House. See web links for details www.nationaltrust.org.uk (find a place) or www.sustrans.org.uk

How to Register

Riders must inform the organising committee of their intent to ride the Camel Trail sponsored ride or Sustrans Ranger led ride by registering on [email protected]. Please let us know the names of all riders, address and telephone number.
Riders may register on the day, however this is subject to spaces being available.
The registration desk will be open from 9am on the day of the event.

Sponsorship
There is a minimum entry fee of £2 per rider which will be donated to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, however, additional donations and fund raising will be greatly appreciated.
Riders should pay their entry fee on the day of the event (19th April) at the registration desk at the Dragon Leisure Centre.

Terms and Conditions
All riders under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The Camel Trail sponsored rides will start between 10am and 12pm. The Sustrans Ranger led ride will start between 12pm and 1pm.
All Camel Trail Riders will be escorted in groups of approximately ten by escort bike riders from the Dragon Centre to the entrance of the Camel Trail.
All riders will be issued with a route map at the start of their ride.
Escort bike riders will not accompany riders on the Camel Trail and it will be the responsibility of all riders to complete their own ride in full compliance with the user guidelines.
Escort bike riders will be in attendance from 12pm to accompany groups back from the Camel Trail entrance back to the Dragon Centre.
All riders must return to the administration area at the Dragon Centre to sign off their ride. Administration closes at 6pm.
