Have An Adventure This Summer

How would you like a windsurfing lesson with UK champion, Chris Murray? Or a sight-seeing flight around Cornwall's stunning coastline in a jet-powered helicopter?

You can do all that and more this summer - whilst supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

Adventure Events are once again holding their Cornwall Summer Events programme, with five weeks of activities including fitness bootcamps, sightseeing flights, clay shooting and falconry experiences.

In 2012, the events raised almost £13,000 for the charity, and this year, Adventure Events have pledged a minimum of £15,000 to Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

Paula Martin, chief executive of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, said: "This is the third year Adventure Events have supported Cornwall Air Ambulance, and each year their fundraising just gets bigger and better.

"This exciting programme of events gives people the opportunity to enjoy unique and fun experiences, whilst helping raise vital funds to keep Cornwall's air ambulance service flying.

"With no central government funding, it is only because of the generous support of our donors - including companies like Adventure Events - that we can ensure the service is there, free at the point of need, for anyone who needs it."

Every year, the Cornwall Air Ambulance flies around 1,000 emergency missions, significantly reducing the time it takes to get seriously ill patients the treatment they need.

Hillmotts summer fitness bootcamps will be available over the five weeks from July 26 to August 30 in Falmouth, whilst St Ives will be the base for Adventure 001's jet powered helicopter flights.
